Terms of Use
The short version of our site terms.
This page covers public use of corrival.biz. If you engage Corrival for services, a separate SOW or agreement will govern that work and takes precedence.
Who these terms are between
"Corrival" or "we" means Corrival, the consulting practice of Cyril Allgeier, based in Austin, Texas. "You" means whoever is reading this page or using corrival.biz.
What this site is and isn't
The site is informational. It describes the services Corrival offers, shares a free field guide, and provides a way to schedule a conversation. Nothing on the site constitutes legal, financial, tax, medical, or investment advice, and nothing creates an advisory or consulting relationship until we both sign a written engagement letter or SOW.
Intellectual property
Site content — copy, design, illustrations, the Dev Team Evaluation Checklist — is owned by Corrival. You're welcome to share the checklist with other founders as-is, with attribution kept intact. You may not rebrand, resell, or republish the content without written permission.
Your submissions
If you submit information through a form on the site or by email, you confirm that the information is yours to share and that it doesn't violate anyone else's rights. I may use the content of a conversation (anonymized) as teaching material or an anonymized case study unless you ask me not to — just email and it won't be used.
Third-party links and tools
The site links to third-party services (Cal.com for scheduling, LinkedIn, X, Web3Forms, Google Analytics, Hostinger for hosting). Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. Corrival isn't responsible for what happens on them.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is." I write it carefully and keep it current, but I can't guarantee it'll be error-free, uninterrupted, or right for your specific situation. Use what's useful, verify anything that matters, and talk to a qualified professional before making a meaningful business decision.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Corrival isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site. For anything that does happen to be directly attributable to the site, liability is capped at one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. Any dispute that can't be resolved by a conversation will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
Changes
If these terms change materially, the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
