Privacy Policy
How Corrival handles your data.
Plain-language version. If you'd prefer the lawyer-drafted version for a DPA or vendor review, email cyril@corrival.dev and I'll send one.
Who we are
Corrival is the solo consulting practice of Cyril Allgeier, based in Austin, Texas, USA. The site at corrival.biz is operated by Corrival. You can reach me at cyril@corrival.dev.
What we collect
When you fill out the lead-magnet form (the Dev Team Evaluation Checklist), we collect the name, email, and company you type into the form. That data is submitted via Web3Forms, a form-handling service, and forwarded to my inbox. I use it to send you the checklist and, if appropriate, a single follow-up note.
When you book a call via Cal.com, Cal.com collects whatever scheduling details it needs (name, email, time zone, any notes you add). That data is processed by Cal.com under their privacy policy, not by Corrival directly.
When you browse the site, Google Analytics 4 may collect anonymized page views and basic technical metadata (country, device type, referring source) — but only if you accept analytics cookies in the banner on your first visit. Reject and nothing is collected. I do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or any cross-site tracking.
One cookie is always set: corrival_consent records your cookie-banner choice so the banner doesn't reappear on every page. This cookie contains no personal data and expires after 180 days.
Why we collect it
Lead-magnet data is collected to deliver the checklist you requested and, where relevant, to continue a professional conversation. Analytics data is collected to understand which pages are useful to which kinds of founders so I can write better content. That's it.
How long we keep it
Web3Forms submissions live in my email and CRM for as long as the commercial conversation is live, and are archived or deleted within 24 months of the last contact. Google Analytics data is retained on GA4's default 14-month setting. The consent cookie expires after 180 days.
Who we share it with
The services below are the only third parties that touch your data through this site:
- Web3Forms — processes form submissions and delivers them to my inbox.
- Google Analytics 4 — processes anonymized browsing data if you opted in.
- Cal.com — processes scheduling data when you book a call.
- Hostinger — hosts this website and may receive standard web server logs (IP address, user agent) for security and performance.
I do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. If a future engagement requires additional subprocessors (for example, a CRM or email platform), that relationship will be governed by a direct agreement with you, not by this policy.
Your rights
Regardless of where you're based, you can ask me to:
- Show you what data I have about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete it
- Export it in a portable format
- Stop processing it
For GA4 data, you can also opt out at the source using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. To exercise any other right, email cyril@corrival.dev. I'll respond within 30 days, usually much faster.
International transfers
Corrival is US-based. Web3Forms, Google, Cal.com, and Hostinger operate infrastructure in multiple regions. Data submitted through this site may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions under each provider's safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable for EEA/UK visitors).
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date above will change. If you've previously submitted a form and the change affects how your data is used, I'll notify you by email before the change takes effect.
